Meet Lance.
I'm Lance King, a fully qualified ECS gold card electrician with over a decade of hands-on experience in the trade. I founded King Electrical SW to bring an exceptionally high standard of work, technical precision and a reliable service directly to my local clients.
As an NVQ Level 3 qualified and NAPIT registered professional, my work is strictly vetted to meet current regulations. I hold certificates in the 18th Edition wiring regulations, inspection and testing, and EV charger installation, so your property is always in the safest, most capable hands.
Whether it's a light or socket at home, a commercial project or a complete rewire, I handle everything personally. You get direct, honest communication and a high quality, certified job, from your first contact to the final certificate.

Protection to suit the job
For minor jobs, I work cleanly and carefully. For larger, messier jobs, I put protective sheeting down before any work begins.
The right equipment
Chasing walls for cables always makes a little dust. So I use high quality Metabo M-class dust extraction to trap the bulk of the dust and debris as I chase.
Vacuumed and tidied
The work area is thoroughly vacuumed and tidied before I leave your property.

- NAPIT registered
- This means my workmanship is officially vetted and approved by a major industry regulator. It gives me the authority to self-certify and sign off all work completed in your property. My registration number is 80933.
- Part P registered
- This is the essential building regulation for home electrical safety. It ensures all work carried out in your home is fully compliant, legal and safely signed off.
- ECS gold card
- The ECS card is the electrician's ID. A gold card certifies a fully qualified, skilled electrician.
- NVQ Level 3
- The recognised industry standard trade qualification for professional electricians.
- 18th Edition
- The latest UK British Standard (BS 7671) for electrical installation wiring regulations. I am fully certified and compliant.
- Inspection and testing
- The advanced qualification required to officially inspect and test electrical installations and issue electrical safety reports (EICRs).
- EV charging
- Certified to safely install dedicated EV chargers in domestic, commercial and industrial locations.
- Fully insured
- My work is fully insured.
